I trained at the Royal School of Dramatic Art in Madrid (RESAD), under the guidance of the renowned Spanish Director and Writer, Ernesto Caballero and I gained a BA (Hons) in Drama and Performing Arts in London. With twenty years’ experience and as a qualified Teacher, I have taught in both the private and public sector working in: Primary, Secondary, Special Needs, Behaviour Support and teaching English as a Foreign Language.
As well as running The Acting Crew I am in my final months of training to be a Counsellor and soon hope to set up another business offering a listening space for children and adults. I am passionate about linking my training as a Counsellor to drama using dramatherapy with children and adults.
My theatre credits in Principal roles include Glinda/Aunt Em in The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Mary Magdalene from Jesus Christ Superstar, Emma from Jekyll & Hyde and lead Operatic vocalist with Questa Voce, Maria Josefa in The House of Bernada Alba, various comedic roles in Alan Ayckbourn plays and A Woman Alone by Dario Fo. Recent productions have been Diana from The Maintenance Man and Muriel from A Woman in Mind. My most recent and exciting role was as Tamora- Queen of the Goths for Brownsea Open Air Theatre’s production of Titus Andronicus for 2018.
